Growing up with two older brothers kept Renae busy and always pushing herself to be at her best performance.

At the age of 14 years old Renae joined her high school's track and field team and was quickly put on the varsity team for sprinting. At this time she had also begun taking parkour lessons at APEX Movement. In 2012, Renae completed her Parkour EDU certification and became the youngest coach at APEX Movement at the age of 16 years old.

In 2014 Renae pursued her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado.
